At present, only Chengdu University Teachers College in Sichuan Province recruits free normal students for rural candidates in Chengdu. It is necessary to sign a training agreement with the school and the Education Bureau, and serve in the assigned school for a certain period of time after graduation.
Sichuan Normal University, referred to as "Sichuan Normal University", is located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. It is one of the first batch of key universities in the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Colleges and Universities in the Midwest". It is the earliest provincial-level key university in Sichuan Province that holds undergraduate normal education and has the longest running history among normal universities.
1956, the school branch moved, among which the undergraduate major moved to Lion Mountain in Chengdu, and the school name continued to be Sichuan Normal University. (The junior college major stayed in Nanchong, and 1958 resumed undergraduate education. After Nanchong Teachers College and Sichuan Teachers College, it was renamed Xihua Teachers College in 2003).
