With the continuous improvement of personal quality, reporting is closely related to our lives. Usually, the content of the report is very large and the length is very long. Let's refer to how the report was written. The following is a survey report on rural primary education I collected, which is for your reference only and I hope it will help you.
I have studied the problems and present situation of rural primary and secondary education. This survey is mainly aimed at rural primary and secondary school teachers, students and parents.
The four parts of the survey are: teaching problems, teachers problems, students problems and parents problems.
Among them, the problems of teachers and students are the key points.
First, the purpose, significance and research methods of the study
With the wide implementation of the new round of curriculum reform and teaching reform, the problems existing in rural primary and secondary education are more obvious. Teachers complain, students complain and parents complain. In order to find out the essence of the problem, grasp the key of the problem and complain to the relevant departments and personnel, I have studied the existing problems and current situation of rural primary and secondary education. This survey mainly uses interviews and questionnaires. Visited 8 primary and secondary schools, and investigated 25 primary school students, 34 junior high school students, 19 teachers and principals. Through investigation and study, we can understand the views of rural teachers, students and parents on education and their overall education situation, and further think about the development direction and model of rural education in China.
Second, the basic situation of the study
1, teaching problems
In rural areas, nine-year compulsory education can no longer meet the educational requirements of the vast majority of parents and students, who demand to go to high schools and universities. 62。 5% parents want their children to have a college degree or above. When answering the reason for the rise, 64. 65,438+08% students choose to study because they like it, only 3. 49% students choose what their parents ask. It seems that, in fact, quite a few students and parents have realized the importance of education.
Children are eager for knowledge, and the countryside also needs talents and technology. However, from the survey, there are many problems in rural primary and secondary education, including the following aspects:
(1) Lack of public education funds leads to poor conditions and poor benefits. The leaders in charge of education pay insufficient attention to quality education, the teaching facilities are poor, and the teaching methods of teachers are relatively old, which seriously affects the implementation of quality education.
(2) The teaching staff is unstable and the overall quality is not high.
(3) The ideology is backward, and the educational value tends to be diversified, pragmatic and utilitarian. None of the children in the survey said that they would go back to their hometown in the future.
(4) Teaching content and teaching methods are divorced from rural reality, and talent training is incompatible with rural economic and social development.
2. Teacher problem
It is found that a large number of teachers are dissatisfied with life (5 1.8%) and relatively dissatisfied (7.8%), and they feel great pressure. I summed up the following reasons:
(1) Unreasonable establishment of rural education leads to heavy workload of rural teachers.
(2) Despite vigorously advocating quality education and actively promoting the implementation of the new curriculum reform in recent years, we all know that the college entrance examination system is not reformed, and the test scores recognized by ordinary people can really change the fate of children, and the enrollment rate is also related to the life and death of the school. Faced with the internal management system of frequent "laid-off" and "leaving", teachers feel great pressure to keep their jobs.
(3) In recent years, in order to protect the rights and interests of students, the education department has imposed many restrictions on teachers, for example, it is not allowed to beat and scold students or expel them. However, influenced by the social environment, students' personality is getting stronger and stronger, their discipline is getting worse and worse, their violent tendencies are prominent, fights happen from time to time, and more and more people are in love, so it is more and more difficult for teachers to organize and manage students. At the same time, under the influence of bad social atmosphere, schools and society pay more and more attention to students' personal and mental injuries, such as extortion and intimidation, which makes teachers often "nervous". Walking on thin ice.
In addition, I found that there are several problems in teachers' concentration:
(1) The level of rural teachers is far lower than that of urban teachers. Although the overall academic qualifications of teachers are improving, most of them are obtained by correspondence and self-examination, and there are still few regular full-time undergraduates. On the contrary, almost all the teachers transferred to towns are backbone teachers, so that there are almost no senior teachers in the middle schools visited.
(2) With the popularization of nine-year compulsory education, the structure of rural teachers has changed from public, private and substitute teachers to all public teachers, but there is a serious shortage of teachers such as music, art and microcomputer.
3. Students' problems
The present situation and thinking of students' autonomous learning
In terms of investigating students' learning attitude or initiative, most students have clear learning goals, but most students are under pressure from parents and teachers, and they have high recognition of their achievements, and 80% attach importance to their achievements. Among the courses studied, the proportion of students who choose the weakest English is the highest, accounting for 47. 67%。 However, for the question "How do you want to improve", I initially designed "review and consolidate myself", "please give guidance", "attend a training class" and&; Other "four options, as a result, 56.3% students chose other. After their investigation, they found that students think more ways, including parents' guidance, soliciting opinions from classmates and teachers, and so on. The survey shows that 46. 1% of rural students can study hard and persevere in peacetime, but 34.5% of rural students study irregularly in peacetime, mainly relying on overtime before exams to cope with exams.
Through contact with students, combined with my own experience, I think the main factor that restricts rural students' learning progress is that rural primary and secondary school students are easily influenced by external factors and need to be constantly urged to study hard. Students mainly attribute their poor academic performance to the need to improve their learning methods. However, because 59.3% of rural students usually have to undertake some housework, it is difficult to ensure that they have enough study time. In addition, poor rural basic education conditions, lack of learning resources and backward teachers' educational concepts have also seriously restricted rural students' learning.
4. Parents' problems
What do you think of the education in your area? 75.36% of parents choose "average" and 5.8% think "poor". It can be seen that many parents are not satisfied with the local education situation. For example, there is a group company that produces Kangbide in Luanxie Village, and the income of local farmers is higher. However, because many parents are not satisfied with the local education, they send their children to schools in cities.
When asked, "How much do you know about children's performance in school? At that time, only 17.5% parents said they knew, and 20% parents chose "basically don't know". However, in the answer of "attaching importance to children's learning", 58.75% of parents are very concerned about this. There seems to be a contradiction in this, that is, I basically don't know the performance of my children in school, so why should I care about my children's study? I asked some parents about this. It turns out that many parents think that caring about their children's academic performance means caring about their children's academic performance.
Some thoughts on the problems of parents;
(1) Parents have no awareness of family education. Most parents think that education is learning in school, and the problem of students is the problem of school education, so they stay out of it.
(2) Parents have no educational ability. Most parents only have junior high school level at most, do not engage in education, or do not attach importance to family education, and their ability is quite limited.
(3) The influence of family is greater than that of school. Parents hope that their children can pass the exam. In the future, the commitment will be even greater. ""The future is no longer busy with land. However, it may be a variety of factors such as conditions and concepts. However, the survey found that none of the parents had the idea of receiving higher education.
Three. Countermeasures and suggestions for solving rural education problems
According to the investigation and my own thinking, I think that to solve the rural education problem, we should mainly pay attention to the following points:
1. Improve the treatment of teachers, reform the personnel system of the education system, create a reasonable and efficient competitive environment, and solve the problem of "teachers' backward behavior"
Research by development economists points out that primary education and secondary education in third world countries. Simple learning methods and poor learning content are closely related to the poor ability and lack of initiative of most teachers. They often don't get the wages they deserve, have no interest, and have no chance to update their knowledge and improve their teaching level. "
Our rural junior high school education is basically like this. The effective way to solve the problem of "teachers' backward behavior" is:
First, raise teachers' salary level to provide economic guarantee for teachers' continuing education and lifelong learning;
The second is to reform the personnel system of the education system, ensure the openness, fairness and science of teacher assessment, and create a reasonable and efficient competitive environment;
The third is to improve the quality of continuing education and lifelong learning and change the formalism and inefficiency of continuing education.
2. Infiltrate vocational education into general education, so that rural junior high school students can grow into compound talents to meet the requirements of rural economic development.
You can try to carry out post-junior high school vocational education in rural junior high schools-semester vocational training or "3+1"; Training system. However, according to the survey, in our local area, parents and teachers don't think so. The reason is that vocational education is not closely integrated with economic and social development, and the employment channels are not smooth. In the survey, some principals said that they had been to Qingdao. Vocational education in Qingdao is in short supply, and graduates can find jobs, so vocational education is very popular. Therefore, the implementation of vocational education should be employment-oriented and conform to the rural reality. Only in this way can we promote the development of rural economy and culture.
3. Deconstruct the closed traditional system, make full use of social resources and actively support social forces to set up educational institutions.
Private schools should be the best form to supplement and activate rural education. However, there are few private schools in our local countryside. In the end, our education has become an exclusive business, always in the position of "boss", traditional, closed and dogmatic, so that it can not be cured. Therefore, we should vigorously support and promote the healthy development of private education, so as to effectively expand the scale of running high schools, solve the bottleneck problem in the promotion of rural junior high schools, and alleviate the great pressure of further education.
70% of the population in China is in rural areas, and the number of students in rural areas (including counties and towns) is as high as 1. 600 million people. However, the present situation of rural primary and secondary education is not ideal, but it faces many problems and difficulties.
In Shahe rural areas, although most families can still pay for their children's education through various channels, there are still a few children who have failed to realize their dream of going to high school and university because of family poverty. Modern society advocates people to pay attention to the disadvantaged groups. These children who drop out of school because of financial difficulties deserve more social care and help to help them realize their dream of studying!
I call on education departments at all levels and all walks of life to realize the urgency of developing rural education, increase support for rural education, attract more outstanding teachers to teach in rural primary and secondary schools, improve the quality of running schools in rural areas, and promote the coordinated development of rural education and economy and society.
