Provisions prohibiting corporal punishment of students in disguised form
Legal analysis: 1. Teachers are prohibited from corporal punishment or corporal punishment of students in disguised form. If found, it will be dealt with seriously according to relevant regulations. Teachers who practice corporal punishment or corporal punishment in disguised form and order students not to report to their parents and schools will be severely punished by the school once they are found out, and they will be required to make an inspection at the teacher-student meeting of the whole school. 2. Teachers who carry out corporal punishment or corporal punishment in disguised form with heavier circumstances shall not enjoy any reward and participate in the evaluation of various honors within two years, except that the school requires them to compensate students for medical expenses and report to the Education Department for corresponding punishment. 3. Teachers who commit heinous acts and cause serious physical harm to students.

Legal basis: Article 16 of the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) prohibits corporal punishment of students.

Article 15 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors, the teaching staff of schools and kindergartens shall respect the personal dignity of minors, and shall not impose corporal punishment, disguised corporal punishment or other acts that insult the personal dignity of underage students and children.
