The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as Yangjiang Health Education School. On 1988+02, it was approved as Yangjiang Health School by Guangdong Provincial People's Government. In 2002, Yangjiang Branch of Advanced Continuing Education College of Sun Yat-sen University was established in this school. At present, all classrooms in the school are multimedia classrooms, equipped with 500 sets of training computer equipment and more than 40 laboratories, such as simulated wards, operating rooms and pharmacies, realizing the integration of teaching and practice.
