What foreign-invested enterprises are there?
There are the following types of foreign-invested enterprises:

1 Sino-foreign joint ventures, Sino-foreign cooperation, foreign-invested enterprises and foreign-invested partnerships.

Including agriculture, forestry, manufacturing, service industry, catering industry, real estate industry, wholesale and retail industry, commercial brokerage and agency industry.

Foreign-funded enterprises are also called wholly foreign-owned enterprises. Refers to foreign companies, enterprises, other economic organizations or individuals established in China with the approval of the China Municipal Government in accordance with the laws and administrative regulations of China, and all their capital is invested by foreign investors. However, it does not include the branches established in China by foreign companies, enterprises and other economic organizations.

Foreign-funded enterprises include wholly foreign-owned enterprises, Sino-foreign joint ventures and Sino-foreign cooperative enterprises.

Legal basis:

Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Foreign-funded Enterprises Article 2 Foreign-funded enterprises mentioned in this Law refer to enterprises established in China with all their capital invested by foreign investors in accordance with the relevant laws of China, excluding branches of foreign enterprises and other economic organizations in China.

Article 3 The establishment of a foreign-funded enterprise must be conducive to the development of China's national economy.

The state encourages the establishment of foreign-funded enterprises whose products are exported or whose technology is advanced.

Industries in which the State prohibits or restricts the establishment of foreign-capital enterprises shall be stipulated by the State Council.
