The Library of Chengyi College of Jimei University was established in February 2004. Located on the first to sixth floors of the library administration building in the north of the college campus, it has a building area of 25,000 square meters, more than 2,700 reading seats, more than 50,000 paper books1/kloc-0, and more than 400 newspapers and periodicals1every year. The library has 19 employees, and implements the integrated management of books, newspapers and periodicals, and the integrated management of collection and lending, and is open for more than 95 hours every week.
The library has a fully functional central computer room and server system, built a comprehensive digital portal website, and introduced and deployed service systems such as WeChat platform, mobile phone library, freshman entrance education and examination, providing efficient and convenient digital services for teachers and students. Our library is the first library in China to establish a radio frequency identification system.
