The National Tourism Administration consists of seven departments: Office, Policy and Regulation Department, Tourism Promotion and International Liaison Department, Planning, Development and Finance Department, Quality Standardization and Management Department, Personnel and Labor Education Department and Veteran Cadres Office.

The National Tourism Administration is a directly affiliated institution in charge of tourism in the State Council.
