Guangdong Teachers College of Technology and Guangdong Technician College are not the same school. Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University is a provincial-level ordinary university with the right to confer master's degrees, and also an independent vocational and technical normal college in China, with a higher degree conferring right and a higher level of teaching and scientific research. Guangdong Technician College used to be the old name of Guangdong Technical Teachers College, and now it is renamed Guangdong Technical Teachers College. The two schools have different names and different nature of running schools, but they are both committed to cultivating professionals in vocational and technical education and normal education.
