Shandong Normal University was founded in1944; 1950 10, in the former School of Education of East China University, Shandong administrative cadre.
Based on the establishment of Shandong Normal University.
1952, when the departments were adjusted, the physics, chemistry and biology departments of Cheeloo University merged at the same time.
From 65438 to 0958, the physical education department and the art department of the school were separated one after another, and Shandong Institute of Physical Education and Shandong Institute of Art were established.
1970, the school authorities and some departments moved to Liaocheng to run schools;
1974 the government and most departments moved back to Jinan, and at the same time established Shandong Normal University Liaocheng Branch (the predecessor of Liaocheng University). 1981August, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, the school was renamed Shandong Normal University.
On March 20 14, Shandong Normal University was jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Shandong Province.
