In May 2004, with the cooperation of the county party committee, the government, the Education Bureau and the Yuanling Town Government, the school signed an agreement to acquire the United Primary School (namely, Chengguan Town Primary School built in 1996), and immediately began the reconstruction and expansion work. In the autumn of 2005, the development pattern of "one school and two sites" was formed. Now the school covers an area of 80 mu (60 mu for the headquarters and 20 mu for the United Primary School), with a building area of 3 1 000 square meters (28,000 square meters for the headquarters and 3,000 square meters for the United Primary School), with a total investment of 22.7 million yuan (0/9.5 million yuan for the headquarters and 3.2 million yuan for the United Primary School).
