Urban-rural education gap?
Our government and education departments are stepping up efforts to develop urban and rural basic education, especially rural basic education. However, how big is the gap between urban and rural basic education in China? Neither hardware nor software can compare, let alone compare.

Everyone knows that children are the future of our country. In our country, how many rural children account for the total number of children in our country? I haven't made a survey or read relevant reports, but I think the proportion of rural children is by no means a minority, but what kind of basic education are they facing? Insufficient school buildings, teachers, resources and so on; And in the city, how are our urban children treated? Parents send them to and from school every day, and there are related studies and long classes waiting for them on Saturday and Sunday. Their 365 days are basically spent in study, not to mention any rest time. So I always feel that children nowadays are too tired to go to school and have no freedom at all. Except for sleeping time, all the rest are occupied by various studies and tutoring.

As far as the hardware and software of urban and rural basic education are concerned, hardware is not the most important, and the shortage of software restricts the development of rural basic education. In terms of hardware, we can help through various channels, and the country is also making great efforts to improve this situation. Yes, the classroom can be repaired. From what I saw yesterday, I think it is still a good primary school. The school building is so new that I didn't know the situation until I really walked in, which is completely different from what I expected. Even when I was in primary school in that remote mountain village, the situation was not so bad. What's more, after 20 years, it is conceivable that there are still many primary schools in those remote rural areas in the west, even worse than this, which will be gradually improved through the concern of national and local governments at all levels. The problem of software, that is, the tension and loss of teachers, is a major problem in the development of elementary education. The flow of rural population is unprecedented. What kind of temptation do gardeners who used to work hard as teachers face? All the friends who go out around us live a rich life, but they still have a few dead wages and can't even eat enough. So, how many excellent gardeners are forced by life to join the wave of going out for gold? Even those in-service teachers have never received any form of training and fees from graduation to this position. How many/much? They have fewer opportunities to exchange teaching experience than city people, and many people even have no opportunities to exchange.

I don't want to say more about the current situation of basic education in cities. As long as anyone who has read this article in front of the computer knows how many advantages there are, not many people in rural areas will know about the situation of basic education, let alone have personal experience, and it is impossible to understand how big the gap is. Basic education is by no means a word, it is related to a country's future destiny and its future strength, and only they are the real masters of the future.

Education is the foundation of national and social development. Only by doing our education well, especially our basic education, is the foundation of scientific and technological development and the strength of the country and society. Let's all care about the basic education in our country, especially in rural primary and secondary schools. It also narrows the gap between urban and rural basic education and shows us more love and help for rural basic education.
