Founded in 1984, it is a key institution of the Armed Police Force, a military academy for junior commanding cadres of the Armed Police Force, and belongs to the Armed Police Logistics Department. It mainly undertakes part of the academic education of junior college students and undergraduates of the Armed Police Force and the rotation training of grassroots cadres, and has delivered a large number of outstanding talents for the Armed Police Force. The college recruits fresh high school graduates and trains grassroots commanders of the armed police in rotation.

2. Wuhan Ordnance NCO School of China People's Liberation Army

Located at the East Gate of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, which is the thoroughfare of nine provinces, it is located on the shore of the beautiful East Lake, adjacent to the National High-tech Development Zone and "China Wuhan Optical Valley".

Covering an area of 1.200 mu, it is mainly responsible for the training of ordnance officers and some technical soldiers of the whole army. The NCO School of Public Security Frontier Defense Forces (also known as the NCO School of Chinese People's Armed Police Frontier Defense Forces) is an active college directly under the Ministry of Public Security.

1September, 1992, with the approval of the Ministry of Public Security, the Kunming Command School of the Public Security Frontier Force (the predecessor of the NCO School) was formally established and enrolled students. It mainly undertakes the training of military cadres, and offers five majors, such as border management, border inspection, military command, confidentiality and logistics, to recruit students for the national border guards.

5. Wuhan Ordnance NCO College

Wuhan Ordnance NCO School is the only NCO school in the whole army that trains technical personnel of ordnance equipment support, and it is a key construction of "2 1 10 Project", which undertakes the dual responsibilities of training high-quality equipment support personnel and providing equipment support technical services for the army.

The school has two teaching and living quarters, covering an area of 1507 mu. The school is located in Donghu High-tech Development Zone, Wuhan, and the practice training ground is located in Jinkou Town, Jiangxia District, Wuhan.
