4. How to treat the significance and value of learning pedagogy?
In fact, pedagogy has been struggling in censure and developing in criticism. We should thank our predecessors in pedagogy, many of whom have the spirit of scientific research and devoted their lives to the cause of educational scientific research. Realizing the China of pedagogy is an important issue in the development of pedagogy in China. 1963, under the leadership of Mr. Liu Funian, China educators worked out the first draft of China pedagogy for three years. But the Cultural Revolution was interrupted. After the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Liu Funian published this research result under his signature. No matter how simple the draft of pedagogy is, it is the first step towards pedagogy in China. It's over that we only studied the history of pedagogy in Japan, the United States and the Soviet Union. After the Cultural Revolution, our educators, especially those of the older generation, worked hard to build a relatively complete theoretical system of pedagogy. Of course, this system will not be perfect today, but it has laid a good foundation after all. As I said before, pedagogy has been developing hard, mainly because pedagogy has been developing itself through censure. Deepening the theoretical research of pedagogy, some people will criticize pedagogy for being divorced from reality and useless; Pedagogy will be criticized as having no theory if it deeply studies the practical problems of education. Pedagogy is just a teacher's manual, not even a science. First, it is the basic requirement for modern vocational teachers to engage in teaching. Teachers' teaching is not arbitrary, but rational. They should not only master the cutting-edge professional knowledge, but also have advanced teaching methods, scientific educational ideas, some people say educational ideas, and understand and understand the basic characteristics of students. Only by doing this can we teach books well and appreciate the fun of being a teacher. Therefore, if a person wants to engage in teaching, he must study pedagogy, which is the qualification requirement of national teachers. Second, it is the basic way for teachers to establish the concept of science education. In terms of the quality of teachers' teaching, I always think that the educational concept is the foundation and the rest is the purpose. Teachers' educational concept is their first priority. As long as teachers have a good educational concept and a scientific and comprehensive understanding of education and students, they will certainly find reasonable methods to enable students to develop well. The reason why some teachers can't teach well is not that they don't have much knowledge, nor that they don't like this profession. The main reason is that their educational concept is improper or lacking. A boy replied: Little fox, little rabbit, little squirrel, their mother bought them wool clothes and came out without being cold; Snakes and frogs don't have fur clothes, so they won't come out if they are too cold. Another example: the story of the left hand and the right hand. The story of the famous educator Huo Maozheng: When she was teaching the fourth grade of primary school, a girl was transferred to the class. Every time I ask questions in class, the girls raise their hands and can't answer every question. Teacher Huo talked to the students after class and asked the girls what was going on. The girl replied that she wouldn't answer because she couldn't. The teacher said that you can't raise your hand without raising it. The girl said, teacher, if I don't raise my hand, my classmates will say that I don't study well and look down on me. Mr. Huo was shocked and told the students that the teacher knew. Let's do this, shall we? Raise your right hand when you want; If not, raise your left hand and let the teacher know when to ask you questions. This simple agreement between the teacher and the right-hand student enables the student to catch up with his study progress quickly.
