The reason why the tuition fees of Zhejiang Wanli University are obviously different from those of other public undergraduate colleges is that its sponsor, Zhejiang Wan Li Education Group, is a self-supporting institution, and the operating expenses of the schools under the group are mainly met by the self-operated business income of the unit, rather than the financial allocation from the higher authorities.
