2. Patriotism education. Take the "Victory Day of the Anti-Japanese War" and "National Day" as an opportunity to carry out the theme education activities to commemorate the 70th anniversary of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, and timely carry out related activities such as symposiums, watching movies in Taihang Mountain and theme essay writing.

3. Love the school and respect the school education. Help freshmen understand the school history, school sentiment, school spirit, school discipline, school motto and school emblem, arrange senior students to lead freshmen to visit the campus, enhance freshmen's understanding of the school's development process and prospects, enhance freshmen's sense of identity and belonging, and help freshmen deepen their understanding of the school's talent training model and school-running characteristics.

During freshmen's admission, the college organizes freshmen to study in the evening from 6: 00 to 8: 00 every night, and earnestly studies the Student Handbook, so as to promote freshmen to understand the various rules and regulations on student education and management promulgated by the school, educate freshmen to consciously abide by the laws and regulations of the school, and promote freshmen to internalize external constraints into conscious behaviors, so as to organically combine self-discipline with heteronomy.

2. Safety education. Through safety education, let students establish the idea of "safety first", prevent epidemic diseases, fires, theft, fraud and traffic accidents, and tell freshmen to lock their doors when entering and leaving, keep valuables properly, don't store a lot of cash in the dormitory, and go out together to enhance their awareness of self-protection. Organize students to carry out legal education, and through the analysis of specific cases, help students enhance their legal awareness and concept, and improve their self-prevention and self-protection ability.

Hold career planning lectures to help students correctly understand their studies and careers, scientifically plan career development routes, and make full preparations for choosing jobs and employment; According to students' family background, economic situation and personality characteristics, comprehensive analysis and demonstration are carried out to establish academic files for each new student.

3. Mental health education in adaptation period. According to the characteristics and actual situation of students in our college, we completed the "Freshmen's Run-up Plan" activity, and carried out the group training activities of "mutual help, one gang, one 30 seconds", "What's on your mind after entering school" WeChat, "Look at 72 changes of freshmen 15" and other lectures.
