First, the school introduction
Hunan First Normal College, referred to as Hunan First Normal College for short, is located in Changsha, Hunan Province. It is a national-level educational system reform pilot unit, an outstanding teacher training program implementation university, and a cooperative university of "Ma Yun Rural Normal School Program" in Hunan Province.
The college was formerly known as Chengnan Academy founded by Zhang Qian in the Southern Song Dynasty, and 1903 was established as Hunan Normal College. 19 12 and 19 14 were changed to Hunan Public First Normal School and Hunan Provincial First Normal School.
Second, the school history
1 16 1 year (the thirty-first year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty), Zhang Jun and Zhang Wei established Chengnan Academy. 1 180, one hundred years after Zhang Qian's death, with the collapse of the Southern Song Dynasty, the once-flourishing Chengnan Academy became a monastery in the Yuan Dynasty. 1903, Chengnan College was renamed Hunan Normal University. 1903, Hunan Normal University was renamed Hunan Normal School.
1904, Hunan Provincial Normal School was (partially) transformed into Hunan Zhonglu Normal School. 19 14, Hunan Public First Normal University and Hunan Provincial Fourth Normal University merged to form Hunan Provincial First Normal University. On October 20 18, Hunan First Normal University was approved to be awarded the master's degree in engineering construction in Hunan Province.
202 1 10, Hunan first normal college joined the innovation and development alliance of universities (research institutes) in Changsha. In May, 2023, Hunan First Normal University established the School of Primary Education and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing.
