meaning

Private schools refer to schools that are invested by private individuals or private institutions, approved by local governments and education departments, and combine education with government to solve more problems focusing on educational equity. The combination of education and market is more about the efficiency of education. In order to adapt to the shortage of regional talents and the development of regional economy, talents are always in short supply and need education and training, so private schools came into being. Relatively speaking, private schools have advantages that large-scale public schools do not have.

At present, the school strives to do a good job in undergraduate education and gradually develop postgraduate education in the next stage. There are four colleges: School of Business and Public Administration, School of Architecture and Design, School of Humanities and Institute of Technology, which have introduced the majors that Ken University has advantages in the United States and Zhejiang urgently needs.

There are about 340 Chinese and foreign teachers in the school, including about 140 foreign full-time teachers, most of whom have international teaching background and doctoral degrees. Excellent global teachers provide strong talent support for the internationalization of the school.

Disadvantages of running a school

Since private schools have reappeared in China for only a few years, and China is currently in the process of transforming from a planned economy to a market economy, the pattern of government-arranged education has not changed significantly, and there are still many difficulties and problems in students, teachers and running funds of private schools.

Private schools engaged in basic education can be divided into two categories: one is what people call "aristocratic schools". Because of their extremely high tuition fees, the service targets are limited to a very small number of "big money", and ordinary working-class people simply dare not ask for it, let alone ordinary social residents. Another kind of private school is called "civilian school".
