1, school environment. The school has four campuses, covering an area of more than 2,800 mu, with a building area of 1 more than 10,000 square meters, and was rated as "the pilot unit for the construction of smart campus in colleges and universities in Henan Province".

Brief introduction of Huanghe Institute of Science and Technology.
The Yellow River Institute of Science and Technology was established with the approval of the State Education Commission 1994, becoming the first private university in China to implement specialized education. The Party Committee was established in 1997, becoming the first private university in China to set up a Party Committee.
In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it became the first private university in China to implement undergraduate education. In 2008, the school successfully passed the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level in ordinary colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education. In 20 13, the school was approved by the Ministry of education as the first batch of "strategic research units for the reform of applied science and technology universities" in China. On 20 15, the school was approved as the first batch of demonstration applied technology undergraduate colleges in Henan Province.
