I. Main functions of Shenzhen Education Bureau:

1. Carry out the educational principles, policies, laws, regulations and rules of the Party and the state, draft educational regulations and rules of Shenzhen, and organize their implementation.

2, the preparation of education development plan and annual plan, put forward the policy of education reform and the goal, focus, structure and speed of education development, and coordinate and guide the implementation.

3. Managing urban education funds; Check the implementation of district education financial allocation; To guide and coordinate the allocation of educational technology and equipment in schools; To guide and supervise the internal audit of the municipal education system; Coordinate the capital construction of schools in Shenzhen education system.

4. Overall planning, coordination and management of pre-school education, basic education, vocational education, adult education, secondary professional education and higher education in Shenzhen.

5. Plan, guide and coordinate the scientific research and popularization of science in Shenzhen education system; Organize the implementation of educational informatization projects; Guide and manage schools to carry out work-study programs and school-run industries.
