Wuhan Vocational College of Social Work was founded in 1986, formerly known as "Hubei Civil Administration School". In 2004, with the approval of Hubei Provincial People's Government and the record of Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to a full-time general higher vocational college with higher education enrollment qualification.

The college covers an area of 150 mu with a building area of 65,438+10,000 square meters. It is located in Wuhan East Lake Science and Technology Cultural Zone, adjacent to "Wuhan China Optical Valley" and overlooking the South Lake with Hu Fu. The exit of Huquan Station of Metro Line 2 is close to the school gate, and the traffic is very convenient.
