Ucsi University is short for Sitya University.
Sitya University was approved by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia 1986. Sitia University is recognized by the Ministry of Education of China and the whole world. It is an overseas ordinary institution of higher learning that can award undergraduate and master's diplomas, and it is also one of the three private universities approved by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.
In 2003, Siam University became the first private university to offer medical courses approved by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia, the first batch of Malaysian universities approved by the Ministry of Education of China, and the only private university in Malaysia to offer diversified courses.

Sitya University is located in the leisure garden in downtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There is a school bus between the north and south campus, the student dormitory and the teaching building.
There are large-scale comprehensive buildings, consulting buildings, teaching buildings and student apartments on campus, as well as swimming pools, basketball courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts, gymnasiums, large conference rooms, music teaching equipment, language labs and libraries.
Student activity center, engineering laboratory, pharmacy laboratory, computer laboratory and applied science laboratory are large-scale cultural, sports and teaching experimental sites, and there is a hospital affiliated to Sitia University with 1000 beds outside the campus.
