The end of Xiao Doudou is that the incendiary bomb falling from the plane burned the Ba Xueyuan. "Little Doudou" is taken from Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's "Little Doudou by the Window". The story is set in Tokyo before the end of World War II, and tells the true story of a primary school, namely Ba Xueyuan, and a girl, Xiao Doudou, who went to school there.
