Ode to Comrade Qu Yuan

The Party Central Committee of the King of Chu and the Central People's Government of Chu sadly announced that Comrade Qu Yuan, a great revolutionary soldier of the landlord class, a loyal member of the royal family, a politician, a diplomat, an educator and a patriotic poet, died in Miluo River, Hunan Province on May 5, 278 BC at the age of 62.

In 340 BC, Comrade Qu Yuan was born in a famous revolutionary family. He received a good education of being loyal to the revolution and the Party since childhood, became the successor of the family with excellent results, and entered the collective leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Chu Huaiwang as the core.

Comrade Qu Yuan successively served as director of the General Office of the Central Committee, foreign minister, president of the Central Party School and vice premier, and participated in the planning and concrete implementation of the great plan to revitalize Chu. Comrade Qu Yuan carried out internal affairs reform, rectified official management and cracked down on corrupt elements. He resolutely opposed the hegemony of Qin imperialism in diplomacy, saw through Zhang Yi, the prime minister of Qin State, actively participated in various state activities, and advocated the establishment of an anti-Qin alliance, which won the respect of international countries.

It is precisely because of Comrade Qu Yuan's efforts that Qin imperialism did not dare to move eastward into China's territory, making the people worry-free. His internal affairs reform has also aroused the dissatisfaction of some cadres in the party. Such as Queen Zheng Xiu, Zi Lan, Shangguan Doctor, Shanxi Merchants and other "three-person gangs", obstructed and interfered in many ways, framed Comrade Qu Yuan, and kept him away from the party's leading collective and Kyoto.

Comrade Qu Yuan was not discouraged under such circumstances. He insisted on justice and truth, educated the local people with virtue and won the respect of the local people. During this period, he published patriotic poems such as Li Sao, Nine Stories, Nine Songs and Nine Chapters, which collected his lifelong ambition and idea of governing the country, left valuable spiritual wealth for future generations, and at the same time created a precedent for collective poetry creation to individual poetry creation, which influenced the writing style of a generation.

Comrade Qu Yuan's life was glorious and great. His patriotic enthusiasm will always inspire the people to fight for the strength of the motherland, and his name and his poems will be immortal. Comrade Qu Yuan is immortal!
