Idiom and Allusions Special Stamp (1)
This set of stamps contains pictures of four idiom stories, that is, "Walking in Handan", "Ye Gong loves dragons", "Making up for a few mistakes" and "Fighting between snipes and mussels".
(4- 1) A Trip to Handan is about the Warring States Period. There is a teenager in Shouling, Yan State. He heard that people in Handan walk beautifully, so he rushed to Handan to learn footwork from others. But he not only failed to master the walking method of Handan people, but also forgot his original walking steps and had to crawl home. This idiom means that it is illegal to imitate others, but you have lost your original skills.
(4-2) Ye Gong Long Hao tells the story that Ye Gongzi Gao of Chu State (now Ye County, Henan Province) liked dragons very much in the Spring and Autumn Period, and dragons were painted everywhere in his home. The dragon in the sky knew about it and came to his house. The dragon looked in through the window. Lord Ye turned pale with fear and lost his mind. In the future, people will satirize those who only say they like it, but their words and deeds are not the same, that is, "Ye Gong Long Hao".
(4-3) The story of "making up a few things" took place in the Warring States Period. Qi Xuanwang likes playing the flute. Every time, 300 people play together, and Mr. Nan Guo, who can't play the flute, also mixed in. After the death of King Xuan, the king acceded to the throne and asked them to blow one by one. Mr. nanguo has escaped. Later, we used the metaphor of "only making up for the lack of technology" to pretend to be capable, or inferior goods to pretend to be good goods.
(4-4) "Struggle between snipes and mussels" is a story told by the Soviet Union during the Warring States Period when the Yan State lobbied the Zhao State. He said that on his way to Zhao, he passed Yishui (now a river in central Hebei Province, which flows through Yixian). The mussel is opening its shell to bask in the sun, and the snipe sticks out its mouth to peck at its meat. The mussel quickly closed its two shells and bit the snipe's mouth tightly. Neither of them would let go. A fisherman saw it, so he came and caught them together. It is a metaphor that the two sides are deadlocked and the third party benefits.
Although each idiom has only one coupon, the designed pattern is a vivid framework of idioms. The ticket design is full of Chinese style, much like the comics Xiaoyou read when he was a child. This set of stamps perfectly combines the collection value and educational significance.
