Reflections on the activity of "What to do if burned" in middle school health teaching

At the beginning of the activity, I first showed pictures of various skin burns to guide children to understand the harm of burns to the body. Children are particularly surprised to see the scars left by these burns, especially those who have experienced burns, and can take the initiative to speak and tell the reasons, processes and feelings of their burns. Children know the dangers and serious consequences of burns.

There are many things in life that can burn us. Zhang Jiajie, who has a glib tongue, said, "My mother's electric iron is very hot. Sometimes I want to try it with my fingers. I tried to heat it before touching it, and I will never touch it again. " The children said: electric heaters, thermos bottles, stoves, bacon, hot dishes and other things that are easy to burn people.

What should you do if you accidentally get burned? Often in this case, children lack safety awareness and don't know what to do. Eating in kindergarten is inevitable to sprinkle vegetables and porridge. Some children don't even talk. Through mutual discussion among children, children know that it is very dangerous to be burned without immediate treatment! If you are burned, rinse with cold water for a while, and then apply scald cream. Never rub the burned area at will. In fact, as long as a certain part of the child's body is slightly damaged, the child will attach great importance to it. In the future, we should strengthen the education of children, don't be afraid and panic in the face of danger, and improve the level of children's response and handling of emergencies.

The whole activity went smoothly, but I still found some problems. First of all, I am not fully prepared to teach. I began to worry that the photos of burns were terrible and would do psychological harm to children. As a result, the photos were printed too small and the vision was not clear enough. I am too slow to understand the types of articles that are easy to cause burns and how to avoid burns. Of course, safety education cannot be completed in one activity, but also needs daily life.
