After returning to China, Huang Jianzhong returned to Liuyang, engaged in education, and taught in Jinjiang and LAM Raymond high schools successively. He once posted his own couplets in his room: "Dare to do great things in the world and don't read useless books on earth." Take the world as your responsibility. Liuyang held a summer training class in 1922, and he was invited to give lectures to more than 800 teachers. He also compiled a booklet engraved with pear wood, focusing on phonetic symbols, new punctuation and so on. This book later became the teaching material of Liuyang schools, which played a certain role in promoting the spread of new culture.
1923, Huang Jianzhong joined China in Jinjiang High School through Chen Chang's introduction. After joining the Party, Huang Jian founded LAM Raymond Weekly, and wrote many articles, such as "Bird Merchants in the Rural Movement" and "Eight Characters of the Republic of China", which are all good chapters to expose the darkness, criticize the malpractices and inspire the people to struggle. He also organized students' extracurricular activities in various ways, such as hosting a student autonomy meeting at Hengfeng Middle School in Hu Da, organizing boy scout camping and military training. He also started cram schools to recruit young farmers and helped Peng, secretary of the CPC Central Committee, secretly develop party member and League members among farmers and students. Among them, Yi Dangping, Tang Xuecheng, Tang Liecheng and others later became the leading cadres at the division level of the Red Army. Huang Jianzhong was their first teacher.
Huang Jianzhong's propaganda ability is also manifested in literature and art. He can write couplets and make up civilized dramas, which is targeted and enlightening. At the meeting of supporting the Northern Expeditionary Army to the North held by the teachers and students of Weishan Primary School, he wrote a pair of couplets for Hu Da Shuihu Stage, which was very wonderful.
At the solidarity trade union conference, Huang Jianzhong first made a speech on the stage. He held a white paper folding fan in his hand and opened it. It's like China's territory, he told the audience. Now imperialism wants to carve up China, as if to tear up China piece by piece. As he spoke, he tore up the fan. He went on to say, "If you tear one piece, he will tear another piece, tearing up all the great rivers and mountains in China. These imperialists also used feudal warlords who were willing to take thieves as their fathers and be evil, to engage in melee, seize territory, kill my compatriots, prostitute my sisters, plunder my wealth, and put the disaster of national subjugation and extinction on the heads of my 40 million compatriots! Then he shouted: all compatriots who don't want to be conquered unite and overthrow the powers! Down with the warlords! Huang Jianzhong's vivid speech made the audience burst into waves of slogans, and the whole meeting room was full of excitement, achieving the purpose of propaganda and inspiring the masses. At this conference, Huang Jianzhong wrote pamphlets such as "Communism and * * *" and "The Relationship between People's Livelihood and Communism", and put them in the Guangxi Bookstore run by his nephew Shang Shiqi, giving them to readers free of charge. Sometimes he goes to the bookstore to explain the content to readers.
Zhang, chairman and member of Liuyang Guandu Township Agricultural Association, was killed by a strong man at the beginning of 1927. At the memorial service for martyrs attended by thousands of people, Huang Jianzhong still wrote three elegiac couplets for foundries, peasant associations and women's federations, praising the revolutionary spirit of martyrs and propagating the revolution to the people.
Huang Jianzhong used culture as a weapon, pen and ink as a sword, criticized the enemy and carried out people's propaganda, which fully demonstrated the great power of revolutionary propagandists.
After the Ma Ri incident incident, the Kuomintang "Shovel Communist" volunteers called Huang Jianzhong a "big thug" and offered a reward of 1000 yuan for his head. At this time, he and Tang Xuecheng, Tang Xiangduan and others sneaked into the Jinkeng mountain area, organized peasant armed forces and launched guerrilla warfare. Because of his high myopia, he can't see anything clearly at night, so he can't follow the guerrilla movements at all. He had to build a mountain shed in Longtou, which borders Pingjiang, as a place for guerrillas to contact each other. Due to the deterioration of the situation, his life is very difficult, and sometimes he can only eat wild fruits and wild vegetables to satisfy his hunger, so his health is getting worse and worse. Later, he moved to Gujiadong, Pingjiang, and lived in Li Jiazhong, chairman of the rural peasant association. He changed his name and continued to engage in the underground work of the party and support the revolutionary armed struggle.
After Peng Pingjiang Uprising and the establishment of the Fifth Army of the Workers and Peasants Red Army, Huang Jian was recommended by Pingjiang County Committee to join the Fifth Army, and served as the party representative of the Special Service Brigade to devote himself to the struggle to open up the Hunan-Hubei-Jiangxi border region. /kloc-in the winter of 0/928, the Central Military Commission transferred him to work in Shanghai, and he was captured by the enemy on his way to his post. The enemy tortured him, but he remained firm and kept a secret from the Conservative Party. When he was escorted to the county seat, he jumped into the water and ran away. Unfortunately, he was shot and killed. The enemy cut off his head and hung it in Liuyang County for three days, threatening the revolutionary people.
Although Huang Jianzhong passed away, Liuyang people will always miss him.
