Jilin Publishing Group Co., Ltd. is a large state-owned publishing group, which includes many book publishing houses, audio-visual publishing houses and electronic publishing houses. Founded in 2003, the Group is one of the pilot units of the national publishing system reform.

Jilin Publishing Group Co., Ltd. and Jilin Fine Arts Publishing House Co., Ltd. were once rated as "Top 100 Publishing Units" in China. This is a selection activity organized by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and other ministries, aiming at commending outstanding publishing units that have made outstanding contributions to the development of the publishing industry.
