Second, we should scientifically grasp the current situation of ideological struggle in China.
China's reform, opening up and socialist modernization are carried out in a complex international environment, and the ideological field is facing a situation in which social thoughts are stirring around the world. In this context, it is extremely important to correctly understand and grasp the struggle situation in the ideological field. It is necessary to have a comprehensive judgment on the overall situation of China's ideological field in recent years. From the aspect of leadership, the Party attaches great importance to ideological work, and in the face of many new situations and changes in the ideological field in the era of informationization and economic globalization, it has comprehensively promoted theoretical armed forces, news propaganda, literary and art publishing, ideological and moral construction, spiritual civilization construction and cultural system reform, which has promoted the great development and prosperity of socialist culture and consolidated the common ideological foundation of the United struggle of the whole party and the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country.
Third, we should understand and vigorously promote the construction of the socialist core value system.
The struggle in the ideological field is essentially a struggle between the socialist value system and the capitalist value system. Building a socialist core value system is the essential embodiment of socialist ideology and the fundamental task of strengthening ideological work. In accordance with the requirements of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we should vigorously promote the construction of the socialist core value system in four main aspects.
