According to the source literature, you can refer to the source index to further find the title, collaborator, source, first author unit, address and so on of the source literature retrieved by EI.
Method 2: EI retrieval method of institutions
Understand the situation that the documents published by an institution are included in SCI. Search steps: Know the name of the institution, but don't know its location. Firstly, check the institution part of the institution index to find out the country and city where the institution is located; Find the country where the institution is located in alphabetical order in the geographical part of the institution index (the United States is the state name).
Check the city name and province name again, and list the authors and sources of documents collected by SCI in institutions at all levels; Search the source index according to the author's last name and first name to learn more about the source literature.
Method 3: author's EI retrieval method
Find out what documents the author has included in SCI. The source index is usually searched based on the author's last name.
Mode 4: keyword EI retrieval method
Search the related literature in a research field included in SCI. According to the determined keywords, the detailed information of all source documents related to the research content can be found.
Mode 5: cyclic EI retrieval method
Search for a series of documents related to "classic" papers. Retrieval method: Using EI retrieval in the early years after the publication of this "classic" paper, a series of source documents citing this document were found from the citation index; Then use the author names of these sources to retrieve the citation index retrieved by EI in the later period.
Find some source documents that have cited these documents, and so on, you can find more and more cited EI retrieval documents.
