Shangdantian is the house of Tibetan gods and one of the sources of internal qi and external qi. It has the effects of improving intelligence, generating internal vision, and increasing the sensitivity of the body. It can be made into health-care and body-building pills, and can also prevent and treat diseases and prolong life.

Dantian, originally a term used by Taoism to cultivate the essence of Neidan, has three Dantian: Shangdantian is the place where the governor sealed the temple, also known as "Mud Pill Palace"; Zhongdiantian is the acupuncture point in the middle of the chest, where the clan spirit gathers; Xiadantian is the Guanyuan point of Renmai, three inches below the navel, and it is a place to hide sperm. Dantian has been widely used by various schools of qigong or luck (if you sing and speak with Dantian Qi, you can reduce the chance of vocal cord injury).
