Heilongjiang Vocational College for Nationalities, located in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, is a full-time ordinary college organized by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and jointly established by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. It is a pilot unit of the modern apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Education. In July 2005, the school was formed by the merger of Heilongjiang Vocational School for Nationalities (Heilongjiang Institute for Ethnic Cadres), Harbin Korean Teachers College (Heilongjiang Korean Teachers College) and Qiqihar Teachers College for Nationalities. Heilongjiang Ethnic Secondary Vocational School (Heilongjiang Ethnic Cadre College) was founded in 1982. Harbin Korean Teachers College (Heilongjiang Korean Teachers College) was founded in 1948. Qiqihar Normal School for Nationalities was founded in 1928. By August 2023, there are 9 departments, 25 majors, 24 1 faculty and 5995 full-time students.
