Two modes of case study
Case study is a method of selecting a person or some research objects, such as a family or school, or a factory or community, and using various research methods to conduct in-depth research on some aspects of a case, also known as case study method. According to the direction of research purpose, case studies can be divided into individual-centered case studies and group-centered case studies.
In the individual-centered case study, the researcher pays attention to the development of the individual under study. Through a comprehensive description of individual's current psychological state and development level and tracing back to previous historical data, the relationship between psychological phenomena or variables (including causality) is sought, so as to understand individual's development and guide individual's normal development. This kind of research is common in the fields of psychological counseling, psychotherapy and individual psychological development, with few research objects, generally only one research object.
Case study method refers to a long-term continuous investigation of an individual, a group or an organization, so as to study the whole process of its behavior development and change. This research method is also called case study method. ?
Case study method is also called case history method. A method of tracking the behavior of individuals or groups. There are five ways. They are 1 tracking method, 2 tracking method, 3 clinical method, 4 product analysis method and 5 education consultation method.
