Zhangzhou (Minnan dialect: Chiang-Chiu-ch hθ) is located in the southeast of Fujian Province, bordering Xiamen in the east, Guangdong in the south and Taiwan Province Province across the sea in the east. It is a "garden city and ecological city" in China, ranking first in the competitiveness of ecological cities, and it is an ecological demonstration zone in Fujian Province and a national Minnan cultural and ecological protection zone.
Zhangzhou is located in the "South Fujian Golden Triangle", with xiangcheng district as the core city. Longwen district, Yuanshan New Town, with Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone and Zhangzhou Development Zone in the central city, is an important hub city where Xiamen-Shenzhen high-speed railway, Xia Long high-speed railway and yingtan-Xiamen railway meet, and a national regional circulation node city.

Zhangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, is one of the birthplaces of Minnan culture. As early as 10,000 years ago, our ancestors lived here.
