In February, a Han captain came from Team 705 in Kuqa County, Xinjiang. His name is Chen Zhi. Among the families of more than 300 employees of Team 705, he is the only Han nationality. Away from home, away from relatives, language barriers, different living customs, poor family, children out of school, all kinds of difficulties in front of him.
In order to fundamentally change the difficult situation of the unit, at the beginning of his tenure, he went to the market to find projects, build industries and grasp development, and devoted himself to his work to serve the employees. In June last year, there was heavy rain in Kuqa County, and the downpour outside the house suddenly merged into a flood. He neglected the leak in his house, picked up a shovel and rushed to the unit's 200-meter flood dike. The flood dam was washed away by heavy rain, and the water has flooded more than a dozen families. In the rainstorm, he vaguely heard the cries of women and children. He ran to look for the sound. In the rain, he saw the Uighur aunt holding two children and crying helplessly. He forgot to take off his shoes and jumped into the water to help his aunt clean up the muddy water flowing into the house. Later, he led the workers who came in one after another to brave the rainstorm and put them into the work of strengthening the dam. Afterwards, the old Uighur woman took his hand and said with tears, "You are really our good Balang." The simple words showed deep national feelings.
One night, when he was on duty in the office, the numb wife of a retired worker came into the office crying and sobbed, "I'm so numb that my children are not around." What should I do? " While comforting the anxious old man, Chen Zhi called another comrade. Together, they carried the numbness of being paralyzed in bed in their 70 s to the car and sent it to the county people's hospital. When paying the hospital deposit, Ma Ti's wife bowed her head. Knowing that he had no money to pay the hospitalization expenses, Chen Zhi gave his only 1500 yuan to the hospital. In the hospital, he was as busy as a bee, registering, contacting the ward, looking for a doctor, pushing numbness to do various tests and seeing the relationship between father and son. There are many such things. After working in the 705 team for two years, the team is his home, and the employees are his relatives. The worker's widow had a hard life, and he gave generously; Laid-off workers lack the funds to start their own businesses, and he tries his best to help them; When workers' children can't find jobs, he contacts everywhere; When the neighbors had a dispute, he took the initiative to mediate. How many people has he helped in these two years? how much is it? How many contradictions have been mediated? He has long forgotten. He did all this in obscurity because he cherished this precious national feeling, and because he was responsible and had a strong sense of responsibility for the cause of the party and the warmth of the masses. In every word and deed, he explained a party member's loyalty to the Party, his love for the people and his cherish of national friendship.
Great changes have taken place in the economic situation, improvement of people's livelihood, courtyard construction, personnel appearance, unity and stability of Team 705. When it comes to the captain of the Han nationality, the Uighur workers in the team all give thumbs up, and they are increasingly inseparable from the captain of the "ethnic minority" in their eyes.
