In recent years, Changan Automobile has made frequent moves, with the launch of two new brands, Aoweita and Changan Deep Blue, as well as the empowerment of new technologies such as Blue Whale iDD hybrid system technology and CHN platform, sales performance and performance have doubled.
At the Chengdu Auto Show, Easy Car interviewed Li Pan, deputy general manager of Changan Automobile Brand Public Relations Department. From his wonderful sharing, we found the specific reasons for Changan Automobile's triumph. The following is an interview record:
Easy Car: In 2022, the performance of Chang 'an automobile market continued to improve, and the sales volume of new energy was by going up one flight of stairs. What is the specific performance?
Li Pan: In July this year, our Changan automobile sales exceeded 200,000 vehicles, of which Changan China brand sold more than 6.5438+0.5 million vehicles in July, and Changan China brand passenger cars sold more than 6.5438+0.2 million vehicles.
From June to July, 2022, the cumulative sales volume of Changan China brand cars reached 1059 125, which broke through the million-vehicle mark.
In terms of independent new energy, the sales volume in July exceeded 20,000, reaching 23,396, a record high; In 2022, the cumulative sales volume of new energy has exceeded 65,438+10,000 vehicles, which can prove that the electrification transformation of Changan Automobile has achieved remarkable results.
I think there are three main reasons for achieving such excellent results:
The first is to adhere to the strategic transformation and lay out the new track first. 20 17 launched the third phase of entrepreneurship-innovation and entrepreneurship plan. Over the years, we have made every effort to promote Shangri-La and Beidou Shu Tian, and accelerated the transformation to an intelligent low-carbon travel technology company.
The second is to persist in technological innovation and increase investment in research and development. Invest 5% of sales revenue in R&D every year, launch leading technologies such as Blue Whale NE Power and Blue Whale iDD hybrid power system, and continue to land, constantly transforming technological advantages into product advantages.
The third is to persist in product innovation and strengthen market competitiveness. At present, our products have a wide range of choices and coverage, which can meet the needs of users for multi-scene vehicles.
On the one hand, we "overweight" classic products and create explosions; On the one hand, the brand is upward, and the high-end product UNI sequence is launched, which is deeply loved by users;
In addition, vigorously promote the transformation of electrification, including Changan Deep Blue SL03, Changan Lu Min, UNI-K iDD, etc., which you see now, have been loved and concerned by many users and have great explosive potential and strength.
Fourth, insist on marketing service innovation to create more value for users. Start the "No.1 Project" to further improve customer service, and launch the "companion service plan" to create a "people, car and life" service system for users.
Easy car: Changan Automobile's performance in the first half of 2022 will be released soon. According to the previously disclosed performance forecast, Changan Automobile performed well. What do you think is the main reason?
Li Pan: Yes, on July 14, we disclosed the performance forecast for the first half of 2022. It is estimated that the company will achieve a net profit of 5 billion to 6.2 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of189.14%-258.54%; Excluding the non-net profit, it was 2.5 billion yuan to 3.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 237.95%-373.438+03%.
I think the main reason behind it is that Changan Automobile has achieved breakthrough and transcendence in three dimensions: growth, profitability and innovation.
Let's talk about growth first. We continue to improve our expansion momentum and constantly create classic products. Since the beginning of this year, key products such as CS75PLUS, Yidong PLUS and UNI Sequence have performed steadily.
At the same time, Changan Automobile continues to exert its strength in the new energy market, and a number of electrified products have also been listed. The market performance continues to climb, promoting the high-quality development of enterprises and releasing the new growth potential of enterprises with a "full-power attitude".
Secondly, in terms of profitability, by improving the product structure, the product premium ability is enhanced and the profit structure is improved. The independent department is gradually becoming the profit pillar of our company.
Finally, innovation. Over the years, we have continuously increased investment in research and development, and our research and development capabilities have been comprehensively improved. In key fields such as new energy and autonomous driving, we have established an engineering R&D team of about 5,000 people and made new breakthroughs in the fields of new energy and intelligent technology.
In the evaluation of the National Enterprise Technology Center, it also achieved the first place in the industry and the second place in the country, ranking a new high.
Easy Car: What achievements has Changan Automobile made in the development of new energy at this stage?
Li Pan: I just mentioned the Shangri-La project. With the continuous promotion of this plan in recent years, Changan Automobile has achieved a series of innovative achievements in the field of new energy, which are embodied in three aspects: new brands, new platforms and new technologies.
For example, in terms of new brands, we have successfully hatched a high-end smart car brand-Ovida and a brand-new digital pure electric brand-Changan Deep Blue.
Among them, Aouita aggregates the strong advantages of world-class enterprises such as Huawei and Contemporary Ampere Technology Co., Ltd.. Its first emotional intelligent electric coupe SUV-AOUITA11and joint limited edition model Aouita 0 1 1 have been released and will be delivered in February this year.
Changan Deep Blue launched its first strategic model, Deep Blue SL03, in April this year, covering pure electricity, extended range and hydrogen energy. Within 33 minutes of listing, the order exceeded 10,000 units.
In addition, we are accelerating the rejuvenation of traditional brands and continue to build electrified and electrified products. For example, An Luming, the national travel boutique conductor, has accumulated orders of 510.5 million vehicles since its listing, UNI brand launched UNI-K iDD, and Auchan brand launched Auchan Z6 iDD.
The second important achievement is the new platform. Changan automobile has mastered MPA, EPA, CHN, and SDA platform architecture will be released soon.
MPA architecture is compatible with ICE and its electrified products. It is an intelligent architecture with multi-morphology, multi-energy and multi-scenarios, and has been launched with UNI-V.
EPA architecture is a platform architecture for the mainstream electric vehicle market. Pure electric series products Changan Deep Blue SL03 and Changan Lu Min adopt EPA architecture.
CHN platform is a new generation of intelligent electric vehicle technology platform jointly built by Changan Automobile, Huawei and Contemporary Ampere Technology Co., Ltd., which is characterized by "new architecture, strong computing and high-voltage charging" and opens a new year for intelligent electric vehicles. It has been done on Aouita 1 1.
The SDA platform will be released at the second Changan Automobile Science and Technology Ecology Conference held recently.
The third important achievement is new technology. At present, we have broken through more than 400 core technologies in the field of new energy, including Changan's new generation of seven-in-one super collector driver, electrically driven high-frequency pulse heating technology, "2+7" active and passive battery safety technology, Changan intelligent core SVDC and so on.
Easy car: At this year's Chengdu Auto Show, Ruicheng PLUS was officially released. What are the core value points and competitive advantages of Ruicheng PLUS?
Li Pan: As a "new generation AR intelligent and comfortable family car", Ruicheng PLUS has intelligent, comfortable and super-comfortable product value, which deeply meets users' demand for "super-comfortable life".
Specifically, I think it can be summarized as four core values.
1. Brand-new design style: Our design team, centering on "super comfortable life for people and cars" and based on new Chinese luxury, endowed Ruicheng PLUS with the style of breaking boundaries and breaking free from bondage through the aesthetic blending of classics and innovation, so as to meet the aesthetic orientation of different groups.
Second, we know more about your advanced intelligence. Based on the life scene of people and cars in the era of science and technology, Ruicheng PLUS is the first to be equipped with intelligent configurations such as AR-HUD augmented reality head-up display, DMS fatigue driving early warning system, intelligent induction trunk, 8666 platform car hardware, flying fish 2.5 ecosystem, NVC car networking KTV, etc.
The third is more comfortable driving quality. Ruicheng PLUS has a super-large body size of 4800mm and a wheelbase of 2770mm, which provides users with the free space of "family travel and family life".
