Main research fields: engaged in oil and gas drilling and completion theory and technology, wellbore safety and process control theory and method, and oil and gas well chemical engineering research, mainly including oilfield chemistry, reservoir protection, wellbore stability, oil well sand production, productivity prediction and optimization, pressure prediction, drilling and completion safety (downhole complex situation) prediction, evaluation and prevention, data method and application of logging earthquake in petroleum engineering.

Main teaching work and achievements: he has taught eight undergraduate courses, including drilling engineering, drilling and completion engineering, offshore oil engineering, completion and downhole operation, introduction to petroleum engineering, introduction to petroleum drilling and production technology, software technology foundation and foreign language for drilling specialty. Responsible for the construction of the national excellent course declaration website of drilling engineering, and won the second prize of national excellent teaching achievement, the second prize of young teachers' lecture competition in Petroleum Engineering College, the first prize of teaching plan display and evaluation, and the title of excellent class teacher in Petroleum Engineering College.

Main scientific research work and achievements: participated in 8 national key scientific and technological projects, major special projects, 973 and 863 natural funds and other projects, provincial and ministerial projects 10, and more than 30 horizontal oilfield projects. Won the third prize of 1 at the provincial and ministerial level, and published more than 10 papers in Geophysical Journal, acta petrolei sinica and Oilfield Chemistry successively, including 2 papers in SCI and ei.
