Different forms of learning
Correspondence mainly depends on planned and organized self-study and centralized face-to-face teaching at a specific time. Self-taught examination focuses more on self-study, but for those students who find it difficult to learn by themselves, they can choose to enroll in some remedial classes to improve their learning effect.
Different diplomas
The correspondence diploma is issued by the College of Adult Education, and the self-taught diploma is stamped with two seals, one is the seal of the examiner's college and the other is the seal of the local self-taught Committee.
The examination method and difficulty are different.
Compared with the self-taught exam, it is less difficult to pass the exam. Students need to fill in their volunteers and choose the colleges and majors to apply for, which is similar to the general college entrance examination. Self-taught exams are more flexible, as long as students are willing to apply, but it is not easy to pass every exam. The test scores of self-taught exams are maintained for 8 years, and the number of exam subjects in different majors is also different.
How to choose
Although both adult education and self-taught examination belong to adult education, they are different in learning forms, graduation certificates and examination methods. If you want to upgrade your education, get your diploma as soon as possible, and passing the exam may be a better choice, because it usually takes only 2.5 years to graduate smoothly. However, if you have confidence in self-study and are willing to spend more time passing the exam, then the self-study exam may be more suitable for you.
