Mr Teng Da Chun enjoys a high reputation in the field of educational history. He used to be a director of China Education Society, China Higher Education Society, vice president of National Education History Research Association, vice president of National Comparative Education Research Association, vice president of Hebei Social Science Society, vice president of Hebei Education Society, vice president of Hebei Higher Education Research Association and honorary president of Hebei Old Professors Association.

Mr. Teng Dachun has worked hard in the field of educational history research for nearly 70 years, and his reputation has spread far and wide, with remarkable achievements. He has made outstanding achievements and rich writings in the fields of foreign ancient (oriental) education history, American education history and Rousseau's educational theory research. He has published monographs such as American Education History, American Education Today, and Rousseau's Review of Educational Thoughts, and translated works such as University Education in the Era of Technological Development and German Education History. Editor-in-chief of many works, mainly including History of Ancient Foreign Education, History of Modern Foreign Education and General History of Foreign Education (six volumes in total). In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of the foreign education volume of the Encyclopedia of China, and the editor-in-chief of the foreign education history of the education dictionary. Mr. Teng has published more than 80 monographs and personal education anthology "History of Foreign Education and Foreign Education" 65438-0998. Mr. Teng's works and his educational thoughts have exerted great influence on educational history circles at home and abroad. Among them, A Review of Rousseau's Educational Thought won the first prize of the first national outstanding achievement in educational science, the honorary prize of the first national outstanding educational theory work of Guangming Daily, and the first prize of the outstanding achievement in social science research in Hebei Province. The book History of American Education is a key project of the State Education Commission during the Seventh Five-Year Plan period. 65438-0999 won the second prize of the second national outstanding achievement in educational science and the first prize of the fifth outstanding achievement in social science in Hebei Province. The General History of Foreign Education won the nomination of the Second National Book Award and the Ninth China Book Award, and was recognized as a basic classic academic work of this discipline by academic circles. The History of Modern Foreign Education won the first prize of the third social science research work in Hebei Province.
