Including 25 texts, 6 groups of compositions, 3 comprehensive articles, 2 introduction to famous works and 8 extracurricular ancient poems, for use in the next semester of Grade 7.

The unit guide of this textbook consists of two parts: the first part is an introduction to the selected text types in this unit, for example, the first part of chapter seven mainly introduces outstanding figures in history, the fifth part is an article based on objects and the sixth part is human exploration. The second part is the goal of Chinese reading ability in this unit. For example, the ability goal of Unit 5 under seven levels is to understand the expression of ambition.
