The Academic Theme of Tutorial System in Quality Education
Three-step Education undertakes the 11th Five-Year Plan of China Education Association "Research on the Theory and Practice of Tutorial System for Quality Education in Primary and Secondary Schools", which is presided over by Wang Jun. Rizhao Experimental Middle School in Shandong Province undertook the project "Research on the Theory and Practice of Tutorial System for Quality Education in Boarding Middle Schools" planned by the Ministry of Education (starting in 2006 and ending in June 2008), and the project was hosted by the principal Qi Yanlong. Rizhao Experimental High School in Shandong Province uses the textbook "We have something to tell you" developed by three-step education as an interactive platform for tutors and students. On September 1 2007, Wang Jun, as a tutor, gave a report entitled "Three Steps is the Sublimation and Development of Tutorial System in Quality Education" to 500 teachers in Rizhao Experimental Middle School. In the following three months, Wang Jun continued his research in the school, guided the implementation of three-step inspirational education, and wrote two papers, such as Investigation, Thinking and Suggestions on the Tutorial System of Quality Education, and put forward suggestions for improvement in the school work.

Middle schools can implement the management system of full-time tutorial system and original class system in parallel. The head teacher is responsible for class management, the tutor is responsible for group or dormitory management, and the head teacher can also be a tutor. Class system also plays an important role. The classroom is a place for cultural education and collective reading of inspirational letters. Tutors can guide students in classrooms, dormitories and playgrounds.
