Six characteristics of quality education
Holiness: It means that quality education must be geared to all the people, and any member of society must receive a certain degree of basic education within a certain period of time through formal or informal channels.
Fundamentality: related to major (occupation) and orientation. Quality education provides children and teenagers with "basic quality" instead of professional quality or professional quality, so that students have "general knowledge" instead of becoming "small experts" in a specific field or a "small expert" in a certain labor occupation.
Development: We should focus on cultivating students' knowledge and ability of self-study, self-education and self-development, and really shift the focus of students to enlighten their minds, cultivate their potential and enhance their stamina.
Comprehensiveness: It means that quality education should promote students' optimal development by realizing all-round development education. Because quality education should be a perfect education, pointing to comprehensive basic quality.
Futurism: refers to the needs of the future society, not the immediate goal of further education or employment needs. Quality education is to change the inertia and conservatism of education, and its goal is to make the younger generation adapt to the needs of future development.
Importance: Since the reform and opening up, China's education development has made remarkable achievements, but the current education can not meet the new requirements of the times and the new expectations of the people, and quality education is needed to change this phenomenon.
