Wuxue Mei Chuan Senior High School is a public full-time middle school directly under Wuxue Education Bureau. It is one of the earliest middle schools in Wuxue City and Huanggang City, and the first batch was recognized as a model high school in Huanggang City.

The history of running high schools in Mei Chuan can be traced back to the fifth year of the Song Dynasty 1045, a county school in Guangji County. In the 13th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, Mei Chuan Academy was rebuilt and became one of the earliest schools in Hubei Province.
