Hunan University Campus Network Information Center was established in 1996. After more than ten years' development, the construction of the campus optical fiber backbone network and the interconnection of the merged campus networks in the north and south campuses have been basically completed, and the task of building the school multimedia distance education platform has been undertaken since 1997. At the end of 200 1 year, the school was restructured, and the campus information construction and management office and its responsibilities were transferred to the principal's office. The network center under the former Modern Education Technology Center has been renamed as the Campus Network Information Center, which belongs to the Campus Informatization Construction and Management Office and is responsible for the planning, construction, management and maintenance of the digital campus.
