3. School history

Xiangyang Vocational and Technical College is located in Xiangyang, a national historical and cultural city. It is a public full-time multidisciplinary vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a national model (backbone) higher vocational college and the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units. Xiangyang Normal School was founded in 1905, which is the predecessor of the original Xiangfan Normal School.
