1. Examination counselors can register through psychological professional training institutions. There are three levels of psychological counselors' occupation, namely: psychological counselor level 3, psychological counselor level 2, and psychological counselor level 1 (not open). Cancel the original titles of psychological counselors (national vocational qualification level 3) and senior psychological counselors (national vocational qualification level 1, closed). Bachelor degree or above in psychology, education or medicine.

2. Have a college degree in psychology, education and medicine, and have reached the required standard hours after three-level formal training of psychological counselors, and obtained a certificate of completion.

Professional development of psychological counselors

In April of 20001year, the Ministry of Labor promulgated the National Professional Standards for Psychological Counselors (Trial), and simultaneously published the National Professional Qualification Training Course for Psychological Counselors (200 1 version).

In July 2002, the National Vocational Skills Appraisal Bureau of the Ministry of Labor and the China Mental Health Association jointly held a press conference, announcing the official launch of the national unified training and appraisal of national vocational qualification psychological counselors.

In April 2003, the first unified appraisal of national psychological counselors (level 3) was conducted.

In August 2005, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security promulgated the National Professional Standard for Psychological Counselors (2005 Edition), and simultaneously published the National Professional Qualification Training Course for Psychological Counselors (2005 Edition).
