This is the educational feature of this temple, which is different from other temples. As a result, Nantun became the birthplace of Taichung culture, and this temple is also one of the ancient temples in Taiwan Province. If its original temple still exists, it should be listed as a first-class monument.

The roof is divided into positive ridge, vertical ridge and ridge, and these ridges refer to the intersection of roof protrusions, because

Its position is different, so its shape is different. Only temples and houses with more than one person are allowed to build dovetails, which are called "Dovetail Ridge" houses. Most houses use the top of the mountain, which is commonly known as "riding style".

The historical story and origin of Emperor Wenchang.

The origin of Wenchang Emperor: Wenchang was originally the floorboard of the six stars in the sky, namely Wenchang Palace. One is in front of Beidoukui and the other is on the left of Beidoukui. Each of the six stars has a star name, which is called General, Second General, Gui Xiang, Siming, No.4 Middle School and Lu Si. Wenchang was the emperor of Yuan Renzong, also called Zitong Emperor. Yuan Renzong extended your life for three years (13 16), and Zitong God was named "Emperor of Hongren who helped Yuan Wenchang". Zitong God and Wenchang God are one god. The Book of Rites of the Ming Dynasty records that "Zitong Emperor, surnamed Zhang, was named Yazi, who lived in Qiqu Mountain in the middle of Shu, was an official in the Jin Dynasty and died in battle, so he built a temple to worship him". Zhang Yazi is a native of Sichuan. In the second year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (374), he claimed to be the King of Shu and died in the uprising against Fu Jian in the former Qin Dynasty. In memory of yu zhang, later generations built a temple in Qiqu Mountain in Zitong County, honoring him as the Razer Dragon King. After yu zhang Temple in the same mountain and Zitong Shenyazi Temple were called together, yu zhang was called Zhangyazi. When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty entered Shu, he passed by Qiqu Mountain. Being impressed by Zhang Yazi's heroism, he made him the left prime minister and offered sacrifices. When Tang Xizong fled the chaos and entered Shu, he personally worshipped Zitong God through Qiqu Mountain, named Zhang Yazi King of Jishun, and personally took off his sword to worship God. There were many emperors in the Song Dynasty. For example, Song Zhenzong made Yazi King Wu Lie of Yingxian, Song Guangzong King Wu Xiaode of Wen Ren and Song Lizong King Xiao De of Wu Wensheng. Yuan Renzong extended your life for three years (13 16), and Zhang Yazi was appointed as the emperor of Lu Si Hongren in Wenchang, Hua Kai. Therefore, Zitong God Zhang Yazi is called Wenchang Emperor.
