Of these 4,200 words, 2,500 can be mastered repeatedly, and the common phrase 1600 composed of these words (including words and phrases mastered in middle school) requires the ability to identify new words according to basic word formation.
No matter how many words are needed, there are only three types:
First, basic vocabulary
Many of the basic vocabulary of CET-4 were learned in high school. Most students know these words and they are easy to recite. The focus of these words is to master the uncommon meaning and correct usage.
Second, the core vocabulary.
There are more than 2000 core words in CET-4. These words are the favorites of Band 4, which mainly appear in reading comprehension. Perhaps because of their favorite reasons, their meanings are relatively fixed and they will not be disguised at will.
Third, super-class vocabulary
The proportion of super words in the exam should not exceed 3%. Although the proportion of super-class words is not large, they often appear in the form of smoke bombs in reading, which makes everyone feel afraid of exams. But don't worry, superwords are not test sites.
