The Origin and History of Chenjia Village in Chonggou Town, Linyi City
Chenjiacun is located 3.4 kilometers southeast of Liwuguan Town, at the southern foot of Luoshan Mountain, adjacent to Dacun in the east and 7.5 kilometers away from Dacun, with convenient transportation. There are 33 households in the village, 1 18 people. The village covers an area of 0.3 square kilometers from east to west and 0.6 square kilometers from north to south, with cultivated land 15 1 mu.

According to legend, in the middle of Qing Dynasty, Chen Jiju, the ancestor of Chen family, fled from Chenjiagong Village in Langyatai with his wife and basket. At that time, a landlord of HouMao Jiazhuang Village (now Dazhen Village) had a woodland here. In order to make a living, Chen Jiju became his tenant to look after the forest (grave) and make a living. Later generations multiplied and built a village, and the name of the village was changed to Chen Jiju. 1944 evolved into Chenjiacun, and the whole village was surnamed Chen.

In the history of Chenjiacun, agriculture was the mainstay, and all the land was earned by the ancestors of the old society who worked for the surrounding areas for a long time and watched the forests. Before liberation, the land was narrow, the production tools were backward and the production mode was primitive. After liberation, the agricultural production in this village has developed year by year. By 1964, the grain has increased from dozens of kilograms to more than 300 kilograms. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the village implemented the "production quota to households" and the production conditions were further improved. According to the reality of serious water shortage in Chenjia Village, four interlocking ponds were built in front of the village, with a storage capacity of 1 10,000 cubic meters. I took another look at the well and solved the problems of watering crops and drinking water for people and animals. The grain yield per mu has increased to 1000 kilograms. Chenjiacun has traditional breeding habits, mainly sericulture. In 2004, the per capita net income of farmers was 3,500 yuan.
