Pedagogy is an undergraduate major in colleges and universities, which belongs to pedagogy major. The basic study period is four years, and the degree of education is awarded. Students in this major mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of educational science, receive basic training in educational science research, and master the basic ability of engaging in education and teaching.
Training objectives:
Education and teaching of pedagogy specialty should adhere to the guidance of Marxism, the basic principle of national political, economic and cultural construction and development needs, the reference framework of China higher education positioning and characteristics, and the guidance of industry standards and social needs, so as to cultivate firm and correct political direction and noble moral quality.
Senior professionals with good scientific and humanistic quality, international vision, systematic mastery of basic knowledge, basic theories, basic skills and methods necessary for educational science and this major, strong innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, practical ability of educational entrepreneurship and management ability, and capable of teaching, management and research in educational management institutions at all levels.
Colleges and universities should formulate training objectives according to their own school-running objectives and training orientation. The training objectives should remain relatively stable and be adjusted and improved in time according to the needs of educational development.
Teacher:
Colleges and universities should establish a sufficient number of teachers with reasonable structure and excellent quality according to the needs of training objectives, training specifications, curriculum and teaching hours. There are not less than 6 full-time teachers in pedagogy, and the student-teacher ratio is generally not higher than 18: 1.
The knowledge structure, educational background structure, age structure and professional title structure of the teaching staff are reasonable, and there are academic or professional leaders with high academic attainments and an appropriate number of key teachers. The subject background of full-time teachers should cover the knowledge fields, knowledge units and knowledge points contained in the curriculum system, and generally they should have a doctorate.
The age structure is reasonable, and the number of full-time teachers aged 30-55 is not less than 2/3 of the total. The structure of professional titles is reasonable, and the proportion of teachers with senior professional titles is not less than 30% of the total.
