The History and Present Situation of Traditional Music Research in China is taught by five traditional music teachers in China, and it is divided into five parts: folk songs, rap music, national instrumental music, minority music and traditional opera music. By leading students to read literature and combing the development process of various disciplines, students can have a general understanding of the history and present situation of traditional music research in China.

The course "Introduction to Modern Music Literature in China" enables students to have a systematic and in-depth cognitive understanding of the real historical facts and ideological context in the process of the evolution and transformation of their music culture, and correctly understand the history and tradition of modern music culture in China; Cultivate students to learn to use scientific theories and methods such as historicism and improve their ability to think and comment on historical issues of music culture.
